Service Description

Overview Nationally recognised unit for anyone working on or near live electrical installations. It teaches workers how to safely perform a rescue from a live LV panel and apply CPR in line with ARC guidelines. This is the current national standard, superseding the older UETDRRF004 and UETDRMP007 units (superseded as of September 2025). Who it's for Electricians, apprentices, and tradespeople working in or around electrical control panels — required for Safety Observers on live low voltage switchboard work under AS/NZS 4836:2011 and relevant Electrical Safety Regulations. Common across electrical, construction, mining, manufacturing, and utilities workplaces. Prerequisite A current HLTAID009 (Provide CPR) certificate is generally required before enrolling — some providers offer it as a combined package with CPR included if you don't already hold it.
