As of 1 July 2009, under the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008, all high-occupancy buildings are legally required to appoint a Fire Safety Advisor (FSA). This nationally recognised course prepares you for that role — covering risk management, emergency planning, and workplace evacuation procedures.

About this course
This course provides the skills and knowledge to carry out the duties of a Fire Safety Advisor, including developing risk management strategies and advising on the emergency planning process.
Completing this course satisfies the training requirements for the Fire Safety Advisor role under the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008, and also meets the national qualification requirements for emergency prevention, workplace evacuation, and initial emergency response.
