Mums and Bubs First Aid

About this course

There's no test to pass and no pressure here — just practical, confidence-building skills for the moments every parent hopes they'll never need, but wants to be ready for. Bring your baby along, sit where's comfortable for both of you, and learn alongside other parents who understand exactly how you're feeling.

This session feels more like a conversation with a knowledgeable friend than a formal course. Ask anything — no question is too small when it comes to your child's safety.

What you'll learn

  • Infant and child CPR

  • Choking response for babies and toddlers

  • Fever, febrile convulsions, and seizures — what to do and when to call for help

  • Poisoning — first response steps

  • Drowning and water-related emergencies

  • Allergies, anaphylaxis, and asthma basics

  • Treating burns, bites, and stings

  • Managing head injuries, cuts, and bruises

  • Open Q&A — bring your specific questions
