The 12-hour Standard Mental Health First Aid course is for any interested adult. You will learn how to assist an adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical guidelines.

About the event
Learn about the signs and symptoms of common and disabling mental health problems in adults, how to provide initial help, where and how to get professional help, what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective, and how to provide first aid in a crisis situation.
Cost of the Course includes: Morning, Afternoon Teas & Lunches provided by A Gourmet Plate, please advise any dietary requirements to info@firstaidandfire.com at least 4 days prior to the course.
All participants recieve: Standard MHFA Manual, Session Workbook, Quality Pen and Notebook.
Our Trainer, Tony is a Principal Master Instructor - He is all about creating fun, engaging and interactive learning environments that encourage participants to feel connected, valued and inspired.
This is an education course, to learn how to give first aid to others, and is not a therapy or support group.
